FY2002 MCH Research Program Grant Guidance and Forms

Application Deadlines:
March 1, 2002 and August 1, 2002
Funding Available:
Approximately $2.2 million available in FY 2002 to support ten awards
of $220,000 each.
Project Period:
One to four years.
Eligibility:
Public and nonprofit institutions of higher learning and public or private
nonprofit agencies engaged in research or in programs relating to maternal
and child health and/or services for children with special health care
needs are eligible to apply.
Purpose:
Support applied research relating to maternal and child health services
that shows promise for substantial contribution to the current knowledge
pool, and when used in States and communities should result in health
and health services improvements.
